Lego to release 3 Live-Action Films

It seems a LEGO Cinematic Universe may be on the horizon.

Universal Pictures is taking the LEGO franchise into live-action territory with a trio of films directed by Jake Kasdan (Jumanji), Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). Kasdan’s film will be based on an original script by Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul, while Jenkins co-wrote her project with former DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns. Cornish is revising a draft by Rick & Morty’s Heather Anne Campbell.

While the plots are still under wraps, this ambitious expansion marks a shift from LEGO’s animated hits, which have brought in over $1.1 billion worldwide. With Universal’s longstanding partnership with LEGO, this move promises an exciting new chapter for the toy giant on the big screen, stretching beyond animation and into a potential live-action legacy.

Captain America Brave New World Sets Revealed

LEGO has revealed two new sets inspired by Captain America: Brave New World, set for release in theaters early next year. Available starting December 1, the lineup includes:
