👔 A Gift Guide for Dads Who Love Lego

Father's Day is approaching, and if you're searching for a gift that says I love you dad better than a World's Best Dad coffee mug, we have some great ideas for you:

Skip the shirts and ties, and give Dad something he secretly wants.

Lamborghini Countach Unveiled

LEGO has revealed its latest addition to the Icons vehicle collection: the Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole.

This 1,506-piece set, priced at $179.99, features detailed elements like a V12 engine, working steering, and iconic scissor doors. Yes, it's still more affordable than a real Lamborghini, but don't expect it to go any faster than your pet turtle.

Fans praise the design’s accuracy, though some question the white color choice, noting that while white is iconic, yellow or black might have been more visually appealing.

With features like a detailed cockpit and both a bonnet and rear boot that open, this set might be a Day 1 purchase for many. We've marked our calendars.

This set hits stores on July 1st. Time to start budgeting.

Nearly 3,000 Boxes of LEGO Seized in Black Market Sting

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Southern California police conducted a raid that uncovered over 2,800 boxes of stolen LEGO sets.

The operation involved serving search warrants at multiple stash houses across Los Angeles and Orange counties. The suspects, who had been targeting stores for limited-edition sets, had scattered their loot in various locations.

This discovery sheds light on a growing trend of high-value toy thefts driven by LEGO's increasing resale value among collectors.

If only these thieves applied themselves to something more constructive.

Zelda's Great Deku Tree Available for Pre-Order

LEGO has finally brought The Legend of Zelda to brick form with the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set.

This 2,500-piece marvel allows fans to construct the tree from either Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild, featuring intricate details like the Master Sword pedestal and Link’s House.

Priced at $299.99, it’s ↳available for pre-order now and releases on September 1st.
