🏆 Guinness World Record for LEGO Minifigures
👕 New Uniqlo & LEGO apparel for kids
Today's 3-minute read, let's get to it:
LEGO Artemis Space Launch System
In our last newsletter, we shared a leaked photo of the Artemis set. LEGO has officially announced the set on their website—and it's indeed grandiose!
This LEGO set celebrates NASA’s Artemis program, which aims to return humans to the Moon—and perhaps even further. This set, number 10341, is slated for release on May 18, 2024, featuring 3,601 pieces and priced at $259.99.
What’s particularly noteworthy about this set is its focus on the structural and aesthetic components of the launch system rather than including minifigures, emphasizing the grandeur and engineering prowess of NASA’s (and Boeing’s 😵💫) real-life Artemis program.
The set doesn’t skimp on details, offering features like a detachable rocket and a realistic launchpad, ensuring it stands out as a display piece.

Milky Way Galaxy ART Set Revealed
Now, from the terrestrial to the celestial—out of the blue, a Milky Way Galaxy ART set has been announced.
At first glance, we thought this was another bogus AI-generated set. But no. If you take a close look, you'll notice greebled LEGO elements.
From a distance, the picture "comes together." It's a very unique building technique compared to other ART sets, which typically use round tiles or studs. Personally, we appreciate the "You are here" tile, reminding us of our place in the galaxy.
Folks on the forums are pretty divided on this set. What do you think? Out of this world or should it stay grounded?

Fun Fact Friday
As you may know, we're big minifigure collectors—we even have an online minifigure store.
Recently, we came across a Guinness record holder for the Largest Collection of LEGO Minifigures.
The record belongs to Kyle Ugone from San Diego. His collection includes a whopping 9,079 minifigures—that's more minifigures than the population of Marfa, Texas.
